Meta Data Deletion
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. Purpose
This page explains how to request the deletion of the data that CPX CONSULTING obtained through the Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) as part of its content publishing service. It supplements section 14 of the privacy policy.
2. Data concerned
- the access tokens that allow the service to publish on the client's behalf;
- the technical identifiers of the connected Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts;
- the content published for the client and the associated statistics;
- where the inbox is subscribed, the comments posted by third parties under those publications: text, date and public username, kept for no more than 90 days.
3. You are a CPX CONSULTING client
To cut off the service's access immediately, remove the "CPX Publication" app from your Meta account settings (business integrations). To have the data already kept deleted, write to contact@cpx-consulting.com with the subject "Meta data deletion", stating the page or account concerned.
Removing the app does not by itself delete the data already kept: the written request remains necessary for immediate deletion.
4. You commented on a client's publication
The fastest way is to delete your comment on Facebook or Instagram: it is removed from the service at the next collection, usually within the hour. You may also write to contact@cpx-consulting.com with the subject "Meta data deletion"; where CPX CONSULTING acts on behalf of a client, your request is forwarded to that client without delay.
5. Time limits
- acknowledgement of receipt: within 2 working days;
- reply to the data subject: within one month, which may be extended by two months if necessary, with notice within the first month;
- deletion on the client's instruction: within 30 days at most.
6. Limits
Some data may be kept where the law requires it or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Data processed directly by Meta is governed by Meta's privacy policy.
